25/8

Last week we had our Afghani dinner during the open mic. It was really nice and cozy all together. Barnaby Tree was playing during our dinner. After dinner Joel performed really funny songs on his ukelele. They were about Berlin, or about the problem when you have 'One egg less' when you want to bake a cake. Robert readed three stories, included a lettre to a mother. We also had a poët who made a intriguing poems. We wanted to start with dinners every two weeks. We're still searching for chefs who wanted to help cooking

Afghani dinner

We would like to start cooking dinners once a month. Our two chefs, Mahmud and Friedhelm were also chefs in other restaurants, and would like to start cooking in the Freies Museum as well. Next week we will start with a Afghani dinner, which you can buy for around 3 euro. Please make a reservation, so we know how many people are coming.

Silhouette tales started the night with passionate music on guitar and cello. Kosho did his political comedian act which was very energetic. Meyrick read us some of his poems, who were really amazing. Everyone was listening carefully, not missing one word of it.The rhythms of the words were almost like a song. Robert was the last performance of the night, reading poems as well. In the end there was some discussions about the subjects of his poems.

We had a lot of surprises last night! Gido joined the open mic spontaneously and started playing the mandolin. He only knew one song, but in the end he also played two improvised songs. Sophie, one of the staff, also surprised us with her amazing voice and guitar songs. Mark impressed us with a couple of beautiful songs. In the end we had also a sing-a-long with Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears songs.

28 July

Last week we had a wonderfull night with nice performances. We started with acoustic songs of Barnaby Tree. He sang straight from the heart, while he was sitting in the audience. Niels and Stefan made a huge installation for their electronic music. It was very athmospheric experimental music. Eddi played some songs, and Mary Beth brought us some comedy-singer-songwriter songs
